Palindromes The new year(2002) has brought new fun and learning in the form of palindromes. Palindromes are words, phrases, or numbers that are the same when read either forward or backward. Examples include: 7752577 race car no lemons, no melon top spot Was it a cat I saw? Can you think of any? Share them with the class. Spellings Explained Some students and parents have been concernedwith the level of spelling words. There are now two groups. Each group has a different list words to study for the week. The first days activity will be to list the words in alphabetical order and to match the appropriate word with the definition.
